Tree

This is an amazing painting, technique-wise. Your watercolor skills are amazing - I could see it as an illustration in almost any kind of context. You've really spent a lot of time on the details, and it makes this shine. A tree isn't of itself a particularly compelling subject, but all the rich details you added to this one make it extremely interesting to look at. The leaves, the grass, the bark... as far as I can tell, it's all impeccable. It really brings the tree to life.

Because of all the visual interest in the tree it is probably fine as a stand alone piece, but I personally would love to see something in the background even if it's just a sky.
